PowerScale State of the Cluster ( SOTC ) is a Technical driven sales play for demand generation. It helps drive relevance, increase CSAT,  and develop new opportunities within the most strategic accounts.

The Sizing Desk creates a customer presentable PowerPoint that broadly covers the review of the current workloads, health check of current cluster, best practice recommendations, identifying new workload opportunities.

Performance Indicator Review (PIR) 

  • An information gathering script (Click to download) is run on an PowerScale/Isilon cluster to collect key performance metrics for analysis. 
  • The key performance metrics collected are: Top Talker by IP & Hostname, Client Node Balance, Protocol Ops & Disk Heat Statistics
  • It should be used under the direction of a Dell technical team member to support the data gathering and correlation of data analysis specific to the environment.
ECS STATE OF THE APPLIANCE ( SOTA )

ECS State of the Appliance (SOTA) is a technical driven sales play for demand generation.It helps drive Relevance, Increase CSAT, and Develop New Opportunities with the most strategic accounts.

It is a comprehensive assessment captures current Capacity Trend, Remaining Garbage, Maintenance info, Alerts & Recommendations, VDC’s geographical view, Rack Elevation and SR History.

  • DOMS Shipping Sequence (000 is the default Shipping Sequence, unless otherwise specified)

  • Currency

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The DOMS Quotes are handled by the QSC (Quote Support Center).
PSS will work on the solution in OSC and handover your request to QSC.
You will receive an email from PSS with the OSC solution details.
The QSC team will convert the solution to DOMS quotes and send you are separate note with the quote details.
